Silicone sponge rubber https://www.yoneyama.co.jp/en/product/silicone_sponge_rubber/ Thu, 07 Nov 2019 04:18:22 +0000 https://www.yoneyama.co.jp/en/?page_id=238 ・・・Learn more]]> Silicone sponge rubber

Silicon sponge rubber with a plate thickness of 2mm, outer size is □ 55mm × 91mm business card size with R5 at one corner.

The square hole in the middle is 30mm × 30mm with R3 at two corners. There are 3 round holes with 3 φ3.5mm and 5 φ1.0mm.

Since the processing stress is low, even soft materials such as silicone sponge can be cut without deformation.

Sponge rubber can be processed by either abrasive cutting or hydro cutting.

The advantage of abrasive cutting over sponge rubber is that cutting is fast and clean.

The advantage of hydro-cutting is that it can cut and drill 0.3mm or less using a nozzle diameter of φ0.3mm or less.
